The ABYC community and culture is experienced through both work and social activities. Our commitment to socializing while working is best illustrated by our weekly ‘work parties’. As ABYC is a year-round working club, its members actively participate in the general upkeep of the club and a wide variety of seasonal projects such as boating launching preparations, clubhouse and grounds maintenance and repair, club boat and dock repair, landscaping/gardening and more. Our active committee structure also offers members other contribution options available in all areas of planning that include racing and cruising programs, special events, marketing membership, community outreach initiatives and much more.
There are a numerous club events and activities during the year, including weekly Games Night, weekly fine dining and other special events like Celtic Night, Christmas parties and the New Year’s Levee.
