Learn How to Recognize a Concussion and What to Do

ABYC requires skippers to be responsible for concussion awareness and removal-from-sport procedures under Rowan’s Law for their crew. By registering for ABYC club racing you, as skipper, agree to accept that responsibility and to comply with these concussion management procedures. If you will not be skipper (the person in charge or PIC) on your boat for the race, you must ensure that your appointed PIC will comply with these procedures on your behalf.

Download this Concussion Recognition Tool, print and post in your boat for you and your crew.

Are you a keelboat racer who is interested in inter-club racing? Go to the LORC site to check out all the opportunities for competitive keelboat sailing in and around the GTA, including the LORC Series Championships, AHMEN Racing, and Lake Ontario Offshore Racing (LOOR).
