Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club (ABYC) has been a part of the Toronto Beaches community for over 85 years. Located in Ashbridge’s Bay Park, just off Lakeshore Blvd. at the foot of Coxwell Ave., the Club is easily accessible by car, bicycle and TTC (Woodbine, Coxwell, and Queen routes).
Senior Members can bring keelboats or powerboats to the club. We can accommodate boats up to 24,500 lbs displacement, ~40 feet LOA, 14 feet beam, and 6 feet 6 inches draught (larger and heavier boats are possible with special permission; winter storage is dependant on boat size and club space availability). Most boats with assigned dockage in our harbour are sailboats between 22 and 40 feet LOA, and we have a few powerboats in the same range. We also have dry-sail accommodation for appropriate sailboats (J22, J24, J70, J80, Etchells, Viper, etc.). Fees apply based on size.
All club user types (Senior Member, Associate, and Junior) can store a sailing dinghy, paddle-board or kayak at the club and have both sheltered waters and easy lake access. There are racks for paddleboards and kayaks, and a sailing dinghy storage and launch area. A nominal storage fee applies in addition to the membership fee.
But love the water? Here are some great ways to participate:
Associates have full access to our clubhouse, bar, restaurant, patios, BBQs, parking, social events, and the property.
They can get involved in racing at no extra charge, by participating in our Crew Night and our racing crew bank. Learn more >.
Club life with none of the cost of a boat. An Associate, Junior (over 18) or Senior Member can also participate in our Co-op program, giving you access to our fleet of 25 to 33 ft. club sailboats. Additional fees apply for keel-boat co-op. Learn more >
