ABYC reserves the right not to make an award in any given year if there is insufficient competition or no worthy candidates. It also may substitute awards if considered necessary.
ABYC Contribution Awards (nominated by members)

For the Unsung Hero who is always cheerfully helping out for the benefit of ABYC and fellow members.
For services to boat racing (race management).
For meritorious service by a member of the cradle crew at launch and haulout (railway or crane).
For credit to ABYC through distinguished accomplishment in, or contribution to, cruising.
For the family that contributes the most to club activities.
For the woman who has contributed most to ABYC during the year.
For the racing crew who has demonstrated outstanding dedication or performance.
For the most outstanding act of sportsmanship.
For the dinghy sailor who has made a measurable and recognized contribution to the advancement of ABYC, in the areas of cruising, racing, or club improvement.
For volunteer services rendered to the club in the Marine Services areas.
For volunteer services rendered to the club in the Marine Services areas.
For the greatest contribution to developing a lifelong love of sailing in young sailors, whether through keelboat or dinghy racing or cruising.
