The 2014 Donald D. Summerville Memorial Race will be held on Saturday September 20.

This year the Summerville will be a medium-distance race starting and ending at ABYC:

• IRC and PHRF-FS boats will round a mark off Frenchman’s Bay for a round-trip distance of about 25 nautical miles.
• Whitesail boats will round a mark off Highland Creek for a round-trip distance of about 15 nautical miles.
• There will be a shorter option available for both courses.

All boats are invited back to ABYC after the race for food, drink, and cameraderie. Prizes will be presented at the LORC awards night at a later date.

This race counts as part of the ABYC offshore series. For ABYC awards, the race will be re-scored counting ABYC boats only.
