There are two shallow spots on the approaches to ABYC. The first is west of the most southern point of Ash Bridges Bay Park. The second is west of the middle of the entrance to the main ABYC harbour.
The ABYC Seahorse Youth Regatta is currently open to Optimist Dinghy Class (Green,
White, Blue, and Red) Fleets. Other classes may be added at a later date.

The Summerville is a coastal race from ABYC around marks of opportunity to the east
and back. Faster boats were sent on a longer course and vice versa to provide a great
race day for everyone. The race is a LORC event as well as part of the ABYC offshore
series.
The 2nd Annual Ash Bridges Bay Yacht Club Optimist Regatta took place on July 27
and 28th over two courses. One course was designed for Opti class boats (including
green fleets) and the other for 420s and RS Fevas.
The 2019 ABYC Keelboat Regatta racers coped with rain, fog, and thunderstorms but
we still got in lots of racing. A successful and fun event thanks to all the volunteers
from ABYC, PCYC, QCYC, and RCYC.
