This is a 5-day live-aboard CANSail course offered in partnership with SailTrillium on Trillium, a Catalina 34 MkII, sailing out of Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club.

The content of the Intermediate Cruising Standard is extensive and includes items such as:

• Cruise planning and preparation
• Extended passage making
• Making landfall
• Dead reckoning
• Chart work and entering unknown harbours

This course allows the student to apply the skills from their Basic Cruising, VHF, Coastal Navigation and Electronic Navigation experience in a live-aboard setting. The five day course is designed to have fun, learn, vacation and gain valuable sailing experience. This is all done on the beautiful waters of Lake Ontario.
