Paul passed away suddenly, but peacefully, early Sunday morning, November 6, 2022. Paul leaves behind his wife, Karen Albert, together for over 39 years; his mother Doreen, father Alan (deceased); his brother Neil (Denise); his sister Barbara; his many nephews and nieces: Michael (Meaghan), Melissa (Elliot), Chris, Gerry, Stacy (Kirk), Stephanie (Val), Jessica (Brian), Tracy (Chris), Joshua; and many great nieces and nephews: Alice, Mia, Luna, Ethan, Conrad, Vincent, Jude, Caleb and Isaac. Paul maintained many long friendships with people over the years from his high school days at Michael Power to his early working days in the power boat business and then his long career leasing cars. Starting out with power boats for a number of years, Paul could be found most weekends in cottage country cruising the lakes and waterskiing with his many friends. Paul then moved on to become an avid sailor and racer in the early 1980’s winning many trophies and awards along the way. Paul has been a long time active and involved member of Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club (ABYC).
There will be a private service for the family which will be followed by a Celebration of Life at ABYC on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm for family, friends and colleagues. 30 Ashbridge’s Bay Park Road, Toronto, ON.
