ABYC Open House for the Community
On Tuesday April 29, from 6 to 9 pm, we will be holding our Annual Open House for our community.
This is the time to pop in and find out what we can offer you in terms of getting out onto the water.
Looking to learn how to sail a dinghy?
Or maybe a Keelboat?
Or maybe you have a youth who is interested in learning how to sail? (ages 6-18)
Or maybe you would like to crew on a racing sailboat and become crew?
We have so much to offer.
This is your chance to find out about things to do at the club,
including courses offered by the Adult Learning to Sail programs and the Junior Sailing School.
We will have representatives from these programs to explain the different options. You can sign up for the courses of interest to you.
Our Membership Committee will be on site to take you on a tour of the club and explain all the benefits of membership. You can become an Associate Member and have access to our fantastic club and its programs at a nominal cost.
If you don’t own a boat but still want to sail then the Coop Keelboat program is the one for you. We have 5 keelboats that can be sailed during the season on a sharing schedule.
We invite Associate members and members of the community to come to our Open House to learn about the different volunteer opportunities to meet and socialize. Meet members of the Race Committee, the Women on the Water group, the Paddling/Kayak group and Racing Crew Bank.
This is your opportunity to get involved and meet others who love to be on the water. We invite you to join us and see what we are all about.
