2018 Application and Instructions
Acceptance into this program requires membership at ABYC in any category other than "Out Of Town" or "Honorary". If you are not yet a member, you will need to be registered as an Associate Member.
Please review the following fees, terms, and provide your consent where necessary for your membership application.
An Associate Membership is an individual membership and does not include other family members. An associate’s spouse may apply at a reduced rate. An Associate Member has use of all Club facilities and may sail with another member but may only keep a sailing dinghy, kayak, or paddle-board at the club. He or she cannot vote at General Meetings and may not hold office. This is an annual membership that expires at the end of each year. After two consecutive years of membership, an Associate Member may apply for Senior Membership and can apply 66% of dues previously paid towards the initiation fee and, after 15 consecutive years, can apply 100% of dues previously paid to the initiation fee.
Upon acceptance and payment of the prescribed fee, has the use of the program’s boats in accordance with the program's rules.
Associate Membership is $283 + $36.79 HST = $319.79, or $424 + 55.12 HST = $479.12 for an Associate and Spouse. Payment will be arranged once your spot in the Co-op Program is confirmed.
Dinghy Co-op Program payment of $500 (Laser) or $1500 (Wayfarer) will be coordinated with you once your spot in the program has been confirmed. A separate damage/loss deposit of $250.00 will also be collected, to be refunded, less any penalties, at year end.
