Haulout Information

Tell us who is hauling out your boat. If you are doing it yourself, you must identify an alternate person to haulout your boat in case of health issues on your designated day/time.

If you are already assigned to haulout crew duties, our volunteers will call you when your boat is in the next haulout sequence and will not try to find you in the parking lot! Let us know what volunteer team you are assigned to and which days.

Mandatory Designated Alternate

If you are unwell on haulout day, your Designated Alternate will haulout for you.

At a minimum, your Designated Alternate should be able to steer your boat under tow if required; if they can start your motor and navigate to the haulout area, that is of course preferred.

Consent for hauling out unattended*

I understand that should I have health issues on haulout day, I authorize ABYC to haulout my vessel unattended as I do not have an alternate who can start my motor or steer my vessel to the haulout area.

I understand and agree that it will be towed to the haulout area and ABYC volunteers will secure it in it's cradle. In case of emergency, ABYC will contact me and I will be granted immediate access to the club to go directly to winter storage location and remedy any issue that could cause damage or peril to my vessel while in it's cradle for winter storage.
