Are you a keelboat racer who is interested in inter-club racing? Go to Regattas at ABYC for information about races and regattas hosted by ABYC that are open to competitors from other Clubs around the Lake – ABYC Open Regatta & Donald Summerville Race.

Go to the LORC site to check out all the opportunities for competitive keelboat sailing in and around the GTA, including the LORC Series Championships, AHMEN Racing, and Lake Ontario Offshore Racing (LOOR).

Location of Race Course

  • The race course and marks have been moved – for this year only – back to their 2020 location just outside our harbour. We recommend leaving your dock around 6:00 pm to make the 6:30 starting sequence.
  • PLEASE NOTE: The printed copy of the Events Book lists the mark coordinates for the location we have moved from; the online version lists the correct coordinates for this year.

Learn How to Recognize a Concussion and What to Do

ABYC requires skippers to be responsible for concussion awareness and removal-from-sport procedures under Rowan’s Law for their crew. By registering for ABYC club racing you, as skipper, agree to accept that responsibility and to comply with these concussion management procedures. If you will not be skipper (the person in charge or PIC) on your boat for the race, you must ensure that your appointed PIC will comply with these procedures on your behalf.

Download this Concussion Recognition Tool, print and post in your boat for you and your crew.
